Hi everyone! Just a small update today, but I think some of you will appreciate it. Even with the Fish & Chill window scaled down, it can still take up more room than you'd like. So I've added a compact mode without water.
A quieter little fishing companion
You can now find No Water in the settings. Turn it on and the large water area disappears, leaving the boat and fisherman. I've kept a thin, gently moving waterline along the bottom of the boat so it still feels like it's floating.
This is for anyone who wants the fisherman tucked near the edge of their screen while working, watching a video or doing something else. Let him fish away quietly without taking up quite so much space.
Less water, the same fishing
This changes the presentation, not the fishing itself. The move and resize controls sit at the bottom centre in this mode, and the top panel adjusts to the new boundaries. It applies to fishing on your desktop; the town stays as you know it.
If you start missing the sea, just turn the option off again. It's completely optional and I'm still polishing it, so I'd love to hear how it feels for you.
If Fish & Chill looks like your kind of game, adding it to your Steam wishlist would mean a lot.
See you at sea! Perhaps on a slightly smaller part of your screen this time.
